The manure on his overalls was the least disgusting thing about Carl. The cows and pigs had the run of the junkyard and, as a whole, had much better hygiene than their master. Though what can you expect from a man who has lived among debris and livestock most of his adult life. Alexander noted that the tow truck driver stood mostly outside the office door, only leaning in to speak when absolutely necessary. Carl sat for a long time silently playing with his lips, apparently thinking. Then led Alexander to a rusty old Fiat that he claimed, "Mostly runs." Photo by tvdflickr
